I bought these for prevention. The last six months I have been on many rounds of antibiotics for a very stubborn infection of my tonsils. My immune system is shot and I needed to not catch something else at this point on a recent trip. These are the best masks I have ever used on every level. No heat build up, no fogging of your eyeglasses, perfect fit, with very comfortable ear straps. Plus, they are very pretty.Reminder: Do not use this for filtration of polluted smoky, automobile and factory filled air. For that you need an N95, preferably 3M, respirator to filter out the tiny 2.5 micron particles that can easily sink to the bottom of your lungs. These can also be used for sanding walls, but if you do this in your work every day, you may want to order up to higher grade respirator.
