Beard Oil, 3.4 fl oz, Beard Oil for Men

I wear a full beard most of the time, and I regularly use beard oil to help keep it soft and groomed well. This Framesi beard oil is from Italy. It comes in a generously sized bottle (3.4 oz.) which is about 3 times the size of most bottles in which beard oil is typically sold. There are no instructions for usage, but beard oil is typically used in 4-6 drops depending upon the length of your beard. This product has a pump instead of a dropper, so there is no way to determine how many drops are dispensed. When I used it, one pump into the palm of my hand seemed to dispense about the same amount as I usually see with about 4 drops or so of other beard oils. Like all other beard oils, you rub your hands together and then rub them on and through your beard thoroughly, and then you use a beard comb to evenly distribute it throughout your beard. This product has a faint mint scent to it that does not seem to last very long. It should not interfere with any cologne you might use. After using it, my beard felt soft without feeling oily or greasy.My major complaint with this product is how it is packaged. As mentioned by at least one other reviewer, it comes sealed with a strip of tape across the top which, I’m sure, is intended to keep it from leaking during shipment. But the adhesive for the tape leaves a very sticky residue on the sides of the bottle that makes the bottle feel very tacky when holding it. It could probably be removed with some acetone, but I don’t have any and it’s not worth buying some just for this.This beard oil is also pretty pricey. It is about 2-3 times the price of other brands. Some of its higher price is justified by the larger amount of beard oil this bottle has, but I think you’re also paying a premium for it to be imported from Italy. Unless you use a lot of beard oil on a regular basis, you may or may not find this higher cost worthwhile.As far as the product goes, I like this beard oil, I like its scent, and I like how it makes my beard feel. It’s good stuff.
