Admittedly rating this was difficult and I debated whether or not it deserved a 4 or 5 star review. Ultimately I went with a 5 because it’s a quality product with some very good ingredients, it’s from a trusted brand and the product is true to the listing. Personally however I think the price is high for what you get. While this is a lovely serum that some people would really enjoy and benefit from, I think there are more potent serums available for a fraction of the price, including serums with ingredients that would be more suitable for a wider number of skin types. That said, this Vitality serum is still enjoyable, nicely presented and the listing is an accurate representation of what you receive.The most helpful ingredients in this serum include goodies like ascorbic glucoside which is a form of vitamin C, collagen amino acids, yeast extracts, ferments, soybean and cucumber and a few really good peptides. It looks like a nice formula even if it isn’t jammed backed with a wider range of peptides or more actives. For the price of this serum though, I would hope to find more proven ingredients. My biggest issue however is the inclusion of so many essential oils as perfuming agents.They do make sure to state that the “fragrance” used is their own “Pure-Fume” which is flower and plant essences. I love that they disclose all this information and that they formulated their own blend so that they’re not using a mystery fragrance in the formula! However, there’s at least a dozen different types of essential oils or botanicals used and that could make it an ill fit for those either sensitive to scented products or those who have sensitive skin. I personally don’t think the scent is necessary although for some that might be an enjoyable part of a skincare routine.The serum itself comes in a pretty glass pump bottle which should help keep it fresh. I love that they include information about the recycled materials used to create the bottle, pump and packaging. The serum reminds me of a mucin of sorts. It absorbs very well and leaves my skin looking and feeling perfectly clean rather than sticky. So it’s very comfortable to wear.I’ve only just started using it so I can’t yet say how effective it is but it is easy to use and incorporate into my routine. I’m not exactly sure what ingredient in this helps with wrinkles but time will tell if it works.Overall, it’s a pretty product with some nice ingredients but those with sensitive skin and noses might want to keep looking.
