The Alterna Caviar Volume Masque is exactly what my fine, limp, straight hair needed and that's lots of volume and shine. After shampooing, I applied the masque and kept it in my hair for 5 minutes and then rinsed, towel dried, and then blow dried my hair. I could tell right away that my hair felt a little thicker and fuller, and when I styled it with a curling iron, I actually had body curls that lasted all day with just a little bit of hairspray. There were also less flyaway hairs, and my hair looked silky and shiny. Some conditioners actually weigh my hair down, but this masque is very lightweight, and I would particularly recommend it to those with fine hair that is hard to style. It is a little pricey, but a little goes a long way depending on the thickness of your hair.
