This is an interesting curl cream. It's not quite a cream and not quite a gel. I have wavy hair around a 2a but it's super fine and low density. I actually didn't know I had wavy hair until about a year ago so I have been experimenting with products that will not weigh my hair down, give me more defined waves without frizzing and not damaging. I wasn't really sure what to expect from this but had heard good things about this brand. My normal routine is either applying a lightweight curl cream to my hair while I am still in the shower along with some medium hold gel then after towel drying apply some mousse before using a diffuser or I will skip the curl cream and gel, towel dry (plopping style) then apply a volumizer and the mousse then diffuse. I tried this with my second method but actually skipped the volumizer and mousse and just put this on. I wanted to see how it did on its own plus I was being lazy. I was super surprised by the results. My hair looked better than it normally does. It went on really nicely, I rubbed it between my palms to get it to go on evenly then applied ends to roots and scrunched. I diffused then used a hair oil to scrunch out the little bit of crunch that was left. It left my hair well defined and super soft. I didn't get any frizz but I should say I am not in a humid environment. I didn't try to refresh the next day because my hair is so fine it just gets messed up after sleeping on it, even on a silk pillowcase so I just out it up on the second day. Overall I am pretty happy with this product and will continue to use it and experiment with different methods. Maybe I will find a way to use it that will allow me to keep my hair down the next day! It is a bit pricy but on par with most high end, prestigious brands.
